Twenty years in tech. A few running restaurants. Four years selling cars from the outside in — which, it turns out, is exactly the right way to come in.
I never planned to sell cars.
I spent 20 years in tech, finished as a CIO, then ran restaurants and Cobs Bread franchises before my wife and I packed it all up and moved to the Comox Valley to be closer to family. Four years ago I walked into this industry as an outsider — and that turned out to be exactly the right way to come in.
What hooked me was the challenge. Every person who walks in is a completely different equation — different life, different budget, different moment they're in. No two days are the same, and I'm constantly problem-solving toward something that actually matters. The reward at the end isn't a commission. It's watching someone drive away in something that fits where they're headed.
Coming from tech and hospitality, I think differently than most salespeople. I'll research what I don't know. I'll be straight with you about what I do. And I'll follow up after you drive away — because that's just how I'm wired. If you buy a vehicle through me, it gives us something else to chat about.
Mike Jackson · Comox Valley, BCHands down the best experience I've had at a dealership. Top shelf service.
Absolute zero pressure throughout all the steps. I would highly recommend you get in touch with Mike Jackson.
Calm, honest, and kind — and he made sure to follow up after the sale.
